These $30,000 Iranian Drones are Smashing Western Missiles
The Strait of Hormuz handles nearly 20% of the world’s oil and around 20% of global LNG exports. After U.S. and Israeli strikes on Iran, vessels began receiving warnings that the Strait was closed. Beijing Gains Ground as Tariff Chaos in Washington Continues
The Pentagon is reportedly considering designating Anthropic a “supply chain risk” — a term normally reserved for foreign adversaries — after a clash over AI safeguards and military use. According to an exclusive report from Axios, the U.S. Department of Defense is frustrated that Anthropic’s CEO, Dario Amodei, has placed restrictions on how the company’s AI model Claude can be used within classified military systems. At the center of the dispute is whether AI tools should be available for “all lawful purposes,” including surveillance and autonomous weapons systems, or whether corporate guardrails should limit those uses.
